Yasmin Shubber has been taking pictures since 1996.
She has done six exhibitions in the past 12 years, these exhibitions were based
on her travels in Tibet, India, Ladakh, the US, New Zealand and France.

at the Oakham Gallery with past and original pieces.

3. Exhibition on Ladakh: Lights of Ladakh

In 2008, 10 pictures of the exhibition Lights of Ladakh (Mountains of Ladakh and People of Ladakh)
received Honorable Mention from the jury of the International Photography Awards Competition
which is the world's most prestigious photography contest for both professional
and amateur photographers, with 22'000 submissions from 124 countries.

The exhibition “Lights of Ladakh” was shown:

I. In Switzerland: With Suzie Shubber and her “Lights of Flowers”; 
 7, 8 & 9th December 2007,

Collectif Ephémère, 78 rue Liotar, Geneva.

II. In Australia: 4th of June 2008, Maunsell Wickes at Barry Stern Galleries, Sydney.

III. In India: 5th of August - 4th of September 2008, Lala's Gallery, Leh, Ladakh.

IV. In France: 3rd - 21st of December 2008, Peniche Anako, Paris.
